Compressive PCA on Graphs

چکیده
Randomized algorithms reduce the complexity of low-rank recovery methods only w.r.t dimension p of a big dataset Y ∈ <p×n. However, the case of large n is cumbersome to tackle without sacrificing the recovery. The recently introduced Fast Robust PCA on Graphs (FRPCAG) approximates a recovery method for matrices which are low-rank on graphs constructed between their rows and columns. In this paper we provide a novel framework, Compressive PCA on Graphs (CPCA) for an approximate recovery of such data matrices from sampled measurements. We introduce a RIP condition for low-rank matrices on graphs which enables efficient sampling of the rows and columns to perform FRPCAG on the sampled matrix. Several efficient, parallel and parameter-free decoders are presented along with their theoretical analysis for the low-rank recovery and clustering applications of PCA. On a single core machine, CPCA gains a speed up of p/k over FRPCAG, where k p is the subspace dimension. Numerically, CPCA can efficiently cluster 70,000 MNIST digits in less than a minute and recover a low-rank matrix of size 10304×1000 in 15 secs, which is 6 and 100 times faster than FRPCAG and exact recovery.

Compressive Statistical Learning with Random Feature Moments
We describe a general framework –compressive statistical learning– for resource-efficient largescale learning: the training collection is compressed in one pass into a low-dimensional sketch (a vector of random empirical generalized moments) that captures the information relevant to the considered learning task. A near-minimizer of the risk is computed from the sketch through the solution of a ...
متن کاملIncorporating Prior Information in Compressive Online Robust Principal Component Analysis
We consider an online version of the robust Principle Component Analysis (PCA), which arises naturally in timevarying source separations such as video foreground-background separation. This paper proposes a compressive online robust PCA with prior information for recursively separating a sequences of frames into sparse and low-rank components from a small set of measurements. In contrast to con...
متن کاملRecycled Plastics as Coarse Aggregate for Structural Concrete
The use of plastic is increasing day by day, although steps were taken to reduce its consumption. This creates substantial garbage every day which is much unhealthy. A healthy and sustainable reuse of plastics offers a host of advantages. The suitability of recycled plastics as coarse aggregate in concrete and its advantages are discussed here. The initial questions arising of the bond strength...
متن کاملSuper-resolution of Hyperspectral Images Using Compressive Sensing Based Approach
Over the past decade hyper spectral (HS) image analysis has turned into one of the most powerful and growing technologies in the field of remote sensing. While HS images cover large area at fine spectral resolution, their spatial resolutions are often too coarse for the use in various applications. Hence improving their resolution has a high payoff. This paper presents a novel approach for supe...
